Lake Bible Church

Lake Bible Church

At Lake our watchword is "a church where people care and truth matters." That is our heartbeat.

Lake is a family. A family that reaches out. . . seeks to draw others into a right relationship with God. . . to share in the joy and fulfillment found in knowing and serving His Son, Jesus Christ. Lake people are real, down-to-earth. It's a family that likes excellence, but more than anything, it loves authenticity.

In a post-modern generation that has all but abandoned the pursuit of truth, we affirm the truth. We believe whatever the Bible teaches, God teaches. For us that is the end of every argument. . . the supreme court of faith and practice. We try to teach in such a way that biblical truth collides with the heart and transforms every aspect of life.

We are a God-centered people and seek to discover what pleases God and do it. Our vision is to be mega impact church. Rather than trying to get bigger, we want to be better: Better people in our relationships, better disciples in all our decision-making and better witnesses for Jesus Christ in a world which offers no true direction.

That is the summit, the apex, the pinnacle of our desire. If you have opportunity, we hope you'll join us.

Introduction to Colossians

August 25th 2010

These two epistles accentuate many of the same themes, both theological and practical, so that they complement one another and help us interpret each other in certain places.

In our day, a time when the magnitude of Christ is lost on many, even in our churches, the overarching ...
